Do you love Zumba?  Do you love Fitsteps?? We love them all so whichever takes your fancy you can find it at Cadmans!

Zumba® Fitness was created in the mid-90s by Colombian native Alberto "Beto" Perez, a celebrity fitness trainer and choreographer for International pop superstars. Inspired by the traditional salsa, samba and merengue music he grew up with, Beto paired his favourite pulsating Latin rhythms with the red-hot international dance steps his clients loved and Zumba® Fitness (Spanish slang for "to move fast and have fun") was born! Since then, Zumba® Fitness has become one of the fastest-growing, dance-based fitness crazes in the world, with people of all ages falling in love with its infectious music, easy-to-follow dance moves, and body-beautifying benefits.

What can I expect when I come to Zumba?
Zumba classes are not like your normal, everyday aerobic class. There will hardly be any verbal cueing and Zumba uses "tracked music" and not continuous music. The instructor will lead the class in easy, simple movements with a combination of dance and fitness moves.  The music is fun and invigorating and is mostly Latin with some up to date tracks thrown in for fun. As mentioned above, different Latin dance styles will be used, as well as fitness moves, such as bicep curls, lunges, and other body- toning moves. There will be a lot of hip and booty shaking too! The structure of the class starts with a warm-up and proceeds to intervals of faster and slower tempos throughout the duration of the class

You don't need to know how to dance to join into a Zumba® Fitness, just follow the instructor and away you go! It's as easy as that....depending on how hard you work, you can burn upto 600 calories in a 45-minute class, that's definitely worth a try!

We run classes almost every day here at CADMANS,
Only £5.00 PER PERSON.

Zumba is on

FitSteps® came to life in 2013 as the result of a collaboration between two of the UK’s most famous ballroom dancers and Britain’s most successful swimmer!

During the long, arduous dance training sessions that are an integral part of Britain’s most successful entertainment show, ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, Natalie Lowe, Mark Foster and Ian Waite had a great idea.

They decided to mix the graceful steps of Ballroom and the up tempo steps of the Latin dances together to create a really fun, energetic and effective way to stay fit and keep trim that would appeal to everyone, even if they couldn’t dance. A dance fitness programme that is ‘so much fun you don’t even realise you’re getting fit!’

Fitsteps is every Tuesday at 6.15pm
